Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sølv and any purchase you make at solvscreen.com ("Sølv," "we," "us"). By using Sølv, you agree to them.
The service. Sølv is a direct-to-consumer film distribution service. We let you buy films directly and download them, DRM-free, to your own devices.
Your purchase. When you buy a film on Sølv, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to download it for your own viewing. Your download is DRM-free and yours to keep. The licence is for personal use only; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying work, and it does not grant any right to copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly screen the film. If a film later becomes unavailable on Sølv, any copy you have already downloaded remains yours.
Payment. Prices are shown at checkout and charged at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
Right to cancel. Because each film is digital content delivered immediately, you agree that we begin supplying it as soon as you complete checkout, and you acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel once your download begins. This does not affect your rights if a film is faulty.
Refunds. Because films are delivered digitally and can be downloaded immediately, purchases are generally final. If a film fails to download or play correctly and we cannot resolve it, contact us and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Acceptable use. You agree not to copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense any film; publicly perform or screen a film outside your personal use; remove or circumvent any attribution, watermark, or security measure; or use Sølv in any way that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.
Intellectual property. Films on Sølv are owned by their respective filmmakers and rights holders and are licensed to you on the terms above. The Sølv name, brand, site, and software are ours and are protected by law.
Availability. We work to keep Sølv available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove films and features.
Disclaimers and liability. Sølv is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where our liability is not excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the affected purchase.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Sølv after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
